Brian Coyne graduated from The Heights in 1994. He was a “lifer” as he attended all 10 years. He went on to graduate from The University of Dallas with a BA in Politics. After a short stint at Morgan Stanley Dean Whitter as a broker assistant, Brian joined The Heights staff in 2000 to teach homeroom fourth grade. He continued his art education studying at The Corcoran School of Art in Washington, DC and The Yellow Barn in Glen Echo, MD. In 2007 He began teaching art full time for The Heights and hasn’t looked back. Brian’s paintings have been shown in art galleries in the metro area. He is equally inspired by music and writes and performs live. Brian played baseball for The Heights and was an honorable mention All Met two years in a row. He has coached JV baseball for us for almost two decades.
