Join us for a night of songs and stories from Ireland.  Most of us have sung a song or two from the Emerald Isle.  But most of us don’t know the stories that accompany these marvelous works.  This year’s Candlemas gathering features Kyle Blackmer and a faculty of friends who will help him recount the stories behind these universally known but little-understood songs from the fields of Athenry and beyond.  Come, sit and stay a while, as we lift a pint and sing songs from another time that still speak to us today.
