It is said that the best gift you can give your family is a well-planned funeral. It’s never too early to make your plans.

Join us on Saturday, February 7 at 10:30 am in The Heights Living Room for a Heights Legacy Society Event on “How to Prepare For a Loved One’s Passing.” Our speakers will cover a variety of topics meant to spark thought, discussion, and action among family members – from making time to reconcile familial issues to making decisions about burial arrangements. Fr. Stephen Wyble ’07, Pastor at Holy Cross Catholic Church, will share practical advice from his extensive experience. He will give examples of good (and not so good!) practices in planning for your own passing or that of a loved one. Mr. Terry McHugh, Funeral Director at Collins Funeral Home, will further discuss some important considerations for preplanning a funeral, so that when the time comes the occasion will not be a hectic scramble to make hundreds of decisions but rather a time to grieve as a family. All are welcome.
