It is at the same time highly entertaining, hugely edifying, and delightfully informative. In addition to reading copious amounts of Latin, we will memorize portions of each selection to solidify our overall grasp of the Latin language.

Textbooks

The instructor will provide printouts from the Legenda Aurea of all necessary selections. These will all be kept in a provided folder.

Course Requirements

This course will require students to do daily reading as well as weekly memorization. There will also be tests and quizzes encompassing the elements read and memorized.

Successful Students

Successful students will not only be zealously diligent in reading their assignments, but also in spending time reading or listening to Latin every single day. They will go to the instructor or their peers for help as needed.
