Nelson holds a Master of Science in Matrimony and Family from the University of Navarre in Spain and a Bachelor of Science in Systems Analysis and Engineering from The George Washington University in Washington, D.C. He also completed the Senior Management Program (PAG) at INCAE Business School in Costa Rica. Over the course of his professional career, he has worked in financial services, sales management, engineering, and business development.

At The Heights, Nelson serves as Director of Parent Formation, Director of International Programs, and teaches Religion in the Middle School.

An avid athlete, Nelson serves as the school’s Varsity Tennis Coach and enjoys playing with friends. His tennis background includes representing Honduras in international competition and playing collegiately.

Nelson and his wife, Sara, have five children (four daughters and one son). He is fully bilingual in English and Spanish.
