About Kathryn

Kathryn has worked at The Heights since 2006 and is the mother of three alumni – Nolan (’11), Griffin (’13), and George (’16). She currently works in the business and development offices, manages the school’s online enrollment process, and oversees a range of communications and publications, including serving as managing editor of Cavalcade. In her role she focuses on communications strategy, advancement, enrollment systems, and process automation. Kathryn’s other nonprofit work includes serving as director of development for an independent school in Central Virginia, as founding director of an international NGO supporting women’s education, and as a founding board member of the Yuma Study Center in Washington, D.C. Earlier in her career, she worked as a macroeconomist and analyst to Fortune 500 firms and international organizations. She holds an MS in management and leadership from Pepperdine Graziadio Business School, a BA in economics from Randolph-Macon Woman’s College, and studied in a year-abroad program in England at the University of Reading and the University of Oxford. Kathryn and her husband, Fred, live in Fairfax, Virginia.
