Joe graduated from The Heights in 2009 and went on to study history at the University of Dallas. Before returning to The Heights, Joe worked for several years as a teacher; first as a 5th grade homeroom teacher at a charter school in Texas, and later teaching world history and writing to 5th-8th grade students in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
