About Joe

Joe LaHood, graduate of The Heights ’02, returned to teach 6th grade Homeroom in 2013 and has taught in the same classroom since. He previously was a public school teacher in the South Bronx, NYC, where he taught 8th grade History. He has a BA in History from Providence College and a Masters in Special Education from Fordham University. Joe enjoys a variety of sports and has enjoyed coaching 6th grade tennis for the past few years. Joe and his wife, Natalie, also run St. Joseph’s House, a residential respite and summer daycare serving children with disabilities.
