Julie joined The Heights staff in 2009, managing library circulation functions and otherwise assisting Librarian Jim Nelson. Originally from southern New Jersey, she earned a B.S. from the University of Maryland, magna cum laude, then spent 15 years in the commercial mortgage banking industry before staying home to raise her two children. She enjoyed volunteering in her children’s schools and particularly in their libraries, and is delighted to continue such work in her part-time career at The Heights. Julie lives in Rockville with her husband, Greg, and still loves spending time with her now-adult kids, Charlie ’14, and Lucy.
