Joe comes to The Heights after more than 35 years as a government engineer. A native of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, he earned his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Marquette University in 1985 and later his M.S. in Electrical Engineering from the Naval Postgraduate School. During his 35+ years at the Naval Research Laboratory, he worked on various projects in the Radar Division, the Tactical Electronic Warfare Division, and the Space Systems Development Department to develop advanced systems and technology for the nation. Following his retirement from the federal government, Joe is a part-time science teacher at The Heights and lives with his family in Falls Church. Two of his boys are graduates of The Heights and three will be studying there this year.
