Fr. Diego Daza serves as chaplain for The Heights. Fr. Diego is originally from Spain, receiving his bachelor’s degree in Madrid. After College, he taught Spanish Literature and Geography at Retamar, a school for boys in Madrid from 1984 to 1995. He then went to Rome where he obtained a doctorate in Theology from the Pontifical University of the Holy Cross. He was ordained to the priesthood in 1998. Over the following decade, he lived in Seville, Jerusalem and Rome before coming to the Washington D.C. area in 2011. He served as one of the chaplains at Oakcrest School for the two years prior to joining The Heights in 2013.
