Alvaro de Vicente on Friendship and the 21st Century Boy

In middle and high school, our sons enter a phase of seeking--they seek an identity and they seek independence. Much of this is done by means of their friends, which have ever been a powerful means of formation. Friends make the man, and the man-making-by-friendship begins in youth. But what is friendship? What is a good friendship for a young man? What are the forces that are shaping our boys and their relationships? And how can we, as parents, assist our sons as they enter social waters, sometimes calm, sometimes turbulent? Join Headmaster Alvaro de Vicente for a discussion on friendship. Doors open at 7:00 pm and the talk will begin at 7:30. All parents and friends are welcome!
