After many years as a parent at The Heights, Kelly McGiffin joined the development office staff in 2012 to manage fundraising events at the School. She comes with a background in non-profit marketing at the American Society of Internal Medicine and the US Chamber of Commerce, and with various other groups in a free-lance capacity. More recently, she has managed a small business and served as bookkeeper for several firms. Kelly earned a B.A. in Rhetoric and Communication Studies, along with a minor in English, from the University of Virginia. She and husband Mike have six children: Danny (’08), Joe (’10), Paul (’15), Thomas (’21), Michael (’24) and daughter Grace, as well as nine grandchildren.
