“Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of my brethren, you did it to me.” – Matthew 25:40
Join a group of Heights Men (Dads and Alumni) this March 2-9 and experience Crescite or bring it back into your life by serving the poorest of the poor in Jamaica. The team will travel in order to serve and build for a community of disabled and abandoned orphans in the magnificent care of Mustard Seed Communities (“MSC”). Heights Men will live and work on a property known as Jacob’s Ladder where MSC’s older residents live. Days will have time for hard work and meaningful friendship, both with your fellow Dads/Grads and, importantly, with the residents.
Limit: 20 People
Cost: $1750. Fundraising is a possibility for interested Heights Men. Heights boys are required to raise $1,000 for the trip. These opportunities are open to older travelers as well.
Dates: Mar. 2-9
Register: To register, please submit $100 deposit to Rich Moss by September 28th. Checks to be made out to The Heights School.
Calling all builders: Having seen what our Heights boys are capable of, MSC is eager to see what Heights Men can do. Men with construction experience are especially welcome on the trip. Work might include masonry, roofing, tile, etc…
Contact: To learn more, contact Rich Moss ’01 (301.765.2093; rmoss@heights). Either that, or ask a grad who has gone about the impact you can make, and the impact these children can make on you.
