The Crescite Fund (pronounced kre-SHE-tay) provides 8-12% of the School’s annual budget and makes possible the yearly growth of the School’s mission in the service of forming men fully alive. Indeed, men capable of filling the earth as excellent professionals, husbands, fathers, and friends. Men who you would like your daughter to marry. It forms no small part in ensuring the success of The Heights.
ACADEMICS: the Crescite Fund is used to expand course offerings across the curriculum, to purchase superior textbooks, and to maintain optimal class sizes.
ARTS: Crescite Fund gifts make it possible to expand performance opportunities for the a cappella groups and bands, as well as to produce a yearly original theater production for student actors in grades 3-12.
ATHLETICS: the Crescite Fund makes it possible to expand coaching staff as well as to underwrite tournament participation and travel costs, and to upgrade team uniforms.
COLLEGE COUNSELING: Crescite Fund giving enables the department to staff three positions, throughout the school year as well as during the summer months.
FACULTY: Your generosity to the Crescite Fund has enabled the School to hire and retain a 67 member all male faculty with outstanding credentials and the ability to inspire our boys.
MENTORING: Crescite Fund gifts help Heights mentors work in tandem with parents to guide the academic and personal formation of our sons.
Every gift to the Crescite Fund—no matter the size—makes a difference to students.
Only you can decide. We ask you to remember that your contribution, along with those of all our donors will directly enhance your child’s education and that of future alumni. The only gift too small is no gift at all!
The Heights’ development efforts include soliciting foundations and local businesses. Strong internal support from The Heights community exponentially strengthens our ability to magnify your giving.
Regular gifts of any size, large or small, add up to make a world of difference to the boys and are easy to setup. Monthly giving allows an even greater portion of your gift to go directly to student programs by virtually eliminating all the costs associated with collecting and processing your gifts.
The Heights is grateful for the thoughtfulness of those who choose to designate the School as the beneficiary of gifts made in memory or in honor of family members, friends, classmates, or faculty members (present or past). Deceased members of The Heights family are remembered during daily Mass and in our prayers throughout the year. As well, memorial gift donors and the individual being named are recognized in The Heights School Annual Report.
