Michael teaches calculus, statistics and honors algebra at The Heights and has been a member of the faculty since 2003. As an alumnus of the school, he tries to provide the same level of high quality instruction he received as a student.  Michael earned a B.S. from the University of Chicago and an M.A. from the University of Maryland in the field of pure mathematics. Apart from mathematics, Michael’s passions include guitars, bicycles and canoes.  He and his wife, Christina, have four boys, three cats, two canoes, far too many guitars, and live in College Park.
